Our Wines
We're excited about offering our hand-crafted wines. Production is excruciatingly small. It allows us to pay attention to the most intimate details. In the early days the wines are like obstreperous children with minds of their own. As they mature, they come together in such a way that brings tears to our eyes and joy to our hearts. Patience and a guiding hand at the right time creates a wonderful sharing experience. Welcome home.

2004 is the inaugural vintage of 428. Boulevard is a blend of Merlot and a touch of Syrah. It was aged for 22 months in 34% new French oak, with the remainder being two and three year old Frenck oak. We gave it over a year of bottle aging. Needless to say, we love it and am very excited about offering it as our very first release.

But don't take our word for it. Here is what Andy Perdue said of the wine in the Fall 2007 edition of Wine Press Northwest, rating it  Excellent :

"This new winery in Washington's Walla Walla Valley has put together a delicious Merlot for its first release. It opens with elegant aromas of black truffles, dark cherries and lilacs, followed by flavors of ripe blackberries and cherries, as well as spicy chocolate. This is an opulent, hedonistic red with a supple texture that will pair well with stews, casseroles, pasta or flank steak." Thanks Andy!
